Well I can't have a fun colorful china hutch and still have an ugly blah dining set, now can I? There are six chairs, so I did two of each color. No, don't try to adjust your computer monitors, the colors are turquoise, yellow-green and purple.
The table is a distressed natural white.
I know for some people, namely grandmas, it would seem I took a perfectly good table and chairs and ruined them. I am not afraid of color, I welcome it with open arms. The dining room looks bigger and brighter now. There's just one problem: what's my next project going to be?

I sure didn't have any doubts! Before this whole color thing, I would sometimes sit in a corner facing the wall and rock back and forth thinking that something better would come along.
Thanks Meg!
I just want to say that those color combinations are amazing. I would never have thought of them but they look surprisingly great together. Also, kudos to curt for yet another funny comment.
love! sorry about grandma. haha. your next project can be helping me find a house to live in and fix it up and restore old ugly furniture!!! i love that idea.
You're amazing Meg! I sanded and re-stained Jonas' crib last year and I thought I was going to die. Never again I said, Never again. I totally love your color scheme. What is it about turquoise that is so...spell binding? I am SOO in love with that color too!
ok, i have to tell you that i am obsessed with the colors you are painting your furniture. i'm so jealous of your hutch (it looks amazing) and the chairs are awesome. i apologize in advance if someone breaks into your house and steals your furniture.
I like the new look, guess that means I'm not an old Grandma type! Nice work.
You never cease to amaze me with your creativity. How darling is this?
